The AmericInn Lodge & Suites hotel is located on the beautiful Ausable River, near Lake Huron. This four-seasons lodge offers three floors, 47 rooms, an expansive lobby, indoor pool, spa, and sauna for its guests’ enjoyment. Its developer enjoyed something too, speed and ease of hotel construction using SIPs from Insulspan.
The hotel’s lobby, guest rooms, and indoor pool walls use the Insulspan® structural insulated panel system. The hotel developer had more than one reason for choosing SIPs. First, was the attraction to substantial energy cost savings when using SIPs. Second, SIPs offered faster build-times than traditional stick frame building methods.
The solid construction and superior strength of the Insulspan panel system provides the safety, and security needed in hotels.
Additionally, the speed and ease of construction using the Insulspan panel system enables the project to be completed sooner than with other construction methods.
“I couldn’t believe how easily and quickly the panels came together, especially the roof panels. ” – Steve Cross, Cross Development
