SUNSET Celebration Idea House built with Insulspan
Structural Insulating Panels
In Menlo Park, California, the first Celebration
Idea house is being built. A project through Sunset Magazine, this
home will showcase design innovations for visually elegant indoor-outdoor
living.
The idea house team consists of Seigel and
Strain Architects, builder Calrum Homes, De Witt Residential Design
& Interiors, and Insulspan Structural Insulating Panels. Built
on-site, the 2,400 square foot home is constructed of Insulspan
SIPS. Their use met the needs and expectations of the projects requirements
with factory cut panels, with assembly, with strength and energy
efficient far surpassing stick-frame construction. The modern home's
flowing spaces open to decks or gardens from every room, celebrating
the West's love of the outdoors.
