6th Grader uses Plasti-Fab EPS in Model Town
When Gabriella Mammone, 11 years old, grade 6 student at Menno Simons Christian School decided to create her model town development for her French project she decided to incorporate rigid insulation.

Each building, road and area was made entirely of scrap foam insulation donated by Plasti-Fab. The development is called Sun City or Cite de Soleil in French.
Lakeside Green Cottage Project
The blue cottage in Lakeside, Ohio, had hosted families for nearly a century, and had been the beloved summer getaway of Frank and Brenda Baker’s family for the past 15 years. So when a tree fell on the cottage in June, 2009, it crushed more than just the structure.

"SIP Home Systems was a wonderful company to work with on my recent project. I had a very tight schedule while preparing all of the materials for shipping down to my client's building site in Baja, Mexico. The SIPS arrived on time while the trucks were waiting to head South across the border.
Once the crew was in Baja there was no room for error as we were 11 hours South of the border, and 40 minutes on a dirt road outside of a tiny fishing village. After a full inventory in the snow in Lake Tahoe, CA, I verified that all of the panels were in the package. We built two structures in 23 days and all of the Insulspan SIP panels were fabricated to perfection.

Insulspan Wins 2010 Excellence in Home Design
The company has received the Excellence in Home Design Award in the Green Panelized Home category of the 2010 BSC Excellence in Home Design and Marketing Awards program.

Insulspan received the award for the Blunk residence in Batavia, Ill., a project that used Insulspan SIPS, Advantage ICFs and Plastispan under-slab insulation to create the tight building envelope required to achieve a "one-watt house” – a home that uses only one watt of energy for every finished square foot.
The awards are given annually by the Building Systems Councils (BSC), an arm of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), and judged by a panel of industry experts. Winners were announced at an awards luncheon in Marco Island, Fla., held in conjunction with the BSC SHOWCASE – the leading trade show and conference for the systems-built housing industry.
