Insulspan Homes are Quality Assured
We take for granted that today's cars,
airplanes, trains and buses are built to strict quality standards
with high levels of assurance that they conform to those standards
and are safe to use. We have heard over and over again that these
manufacturers subscribe to and maintain quality control programs
that are overseen by Third-Party Agencies (QS 9000, Baldridge Awards).
But what about our homes? Our homes are
our largest investment and where our families spend the majority
of our time. Should we not expect and demand similar levels of attention
to quality in our shelters as we do in our transportation.
It is rare to find homebuilders with
well-established quality control programs, much less programs that
are Third-Party verified. Building Inspectors are not quality control
programs and the problems with the lack of adequate structural inspections
has been dramatically exhibited in many hurricanes, tornadoes and
earthquakes.
Insulspan SIP systems are stronger by
design and assured to perform through the Insulspan ISO 9001 Quality
Control Program. ISO is an internationally recognized and respected
program of systematic quality control that provides you with attention
to quality on par with the most stringent industry programs. Insulspan
and its affiliated builders adhere to strict standards defined in
the Insulspan ISO Quality Control Programs and are third-party inspected
to ensure conformance.
Insulspan SIPs also reduce drywall finish problems
such as nail pops and cracks. This is due to the stiffness and stability
of the panel and the OSB panel skin. The OSB also provides a very
convenient method for attaching cabinets, trim and other accoutrements
without concern for stud locations. The Insulspan panel is also
inherently much flatter and straighter than stud walls and they
stay that way. This makes trim and finishing easier and better appearing.
